Alli 9.4 beam routine!!

This is Alli's beam routine form the Diamond Backs Meet.  She did her best beam routine ever so I thought I would share it.  I hope you like it

Happy Birthday Alli!!!

My little angel was born May 1, 2000. What a blessing to have Allison Joy in our family. We were so excited to have a new baby! I'm pretty sure that she was in someones loving arms her entire first year of life

As we look back on Alli's life so far we can't leave out the comfort belly button.  From the time she was tiny she would grab onto the "button" for comfort. It was a lot better than a binky cause it NEVER got lost in the car seat or under the crib!  We also have to include that ever since she was little she has LOVED her shoes!  

We thought we were DONE with T-Ball!!!  

She is all grown up and still such a JOY!  

She loves her friends, gymnastics, diving and making up fun cheers and dances.  She loves to outback to dinner with Richie.  Shannen is and always has been her 2nd mom.  Robert is a great brother and super fun at birthday parties!  Haley and Alli like to get dressed up and take really  fun pictures.  Dad loves to coach Alli in anything and everything.  I'm just thrilled that Alli still loves to cuddle cause that is my favorite thing!!!

Olympic Gymnastics Ad

A couple of weeks ago a lady came to Alli's gym to take pictures of all the girls.  We thought it was for the web site.  On Saturday I get a call saying "I saw Alli's picture in the Groves Report." I had no idea so we went to the mailbox and this is what we found!!  It's pretty fun to be in the add and even more fun to be surprised about it.  The picture turned out cute but I think Alli will keep her "day job"

Robert concussion #2!

Well the lake on Saturday was fun but Robert decided to do some fun tricks and didn't quite land this one.   We got a great picture though.  Anyway he got to spend the day and most of the night (prom) with a pretty bad headache. Ouch!

Shannen SO close!!

So Shannen IS going to land her roll this summer.  I have 100% confidence she can do it.         

Robert Volleyball

Robert still has two more weeks of volleyball. The team is started a little slow but they are getting better. They have a tournament this weekend at McClintock. Go Toros!!

Haley Softball

So Mountain View softball is over for This season.  The Lady Toros went 17 and 1!  Pretty good season.  It was fun watching Haley pitch and play shortstop.  The highlight of the season though, I would have to say , is the final game of the season where Haley hit two over the fence!!  She had five on the year but two in one game is super fun!!!  Good job Hay Hay!!!

Spring Break

So Alli, Adryen and I went to the cabin for spring break.  It was really relaxing.  We thought we might get to go sledding but no snow left!  So  we rode bikes and watched movies and built a really cool fort.  It was a great break.   

Robert's BEST game EVER!!!

So, the ONE and ONLY game I don't have my camera at (the picture is from a different game) Robert has the game of his life! Last night we played Dobson in the first region game. Dobson is ranked #2 and we are #15. (the reason no camera) Anyway, at the end of the game the score was 1 to 1. So overtime. With about 3 minutes left in the final overtime the score was Dobson 2 Mountain View 1. We needed to score again to force penalty kicks. Robert at the time was playing forward and scored the goal to force penalty kicks!!!! OK if your confused why Robert the goalie was playing forward here is the story. The night before the game Robert had soccer practice. He also had his day activity for winter formal and he chose the date so he wasn't supossed to play at all. But when it looked like there might be a shoot out the coach put him in because he is the best goalie for penalty kicks. So he got put in right before the end because in order to be a part of the shoot out you have to be on the field at the end of the game. Anyway he was awesome!!! So shoot out. 1 on 1 with the goalie. Each team gets five shots. We go first and MISS. The goalie didn't block it our shot was wide. Then they shoot and make it. They are up 1. We shoot and make it 1 to 1. They take their second shot and Robert blocks it!!!! Yeah Robert. Still 1 to 1. We shoot again and make it 2 to 1. They shoot again and make it, 2 to 2. We shoot again and make it 3 to 2. They go and YES Robert blocks it again!! Still 3 to 2. We go again and make it!! Now it is 4 to 2 and they only have two shots left they have to make both to tie. And the crowd goes wild!!!! Robert blocks a third time!!!!!!! Mountain View upsets Dobson and WINS!!!!!! It was so fun! Robert says it felt like a dream. He was so happy. I'm glad he had so much fun because we all did too!!!
