Let it SNOW!!!
Last weekend in Provo the snow came down hard. This is the parking lot at Shannen's apartment. I guess when it snows you head to the slopes. Shannen and Spencer had fun boarding at Brighton but by the end of the day you couldn't even see anything it was snowing so hard. We all can't wait to get up there. Keep the snow coming!

Happy Thanksgiving
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had a really good day. It is always a good thing to take time to think about how blessed we are. I am so thankful for my family. It was so great to have everyone together. I know there will be a time down the road when I will have to share with "in-laws" so I am just happy to enjoy every minute of this time of my life. I really like being around my big kids. It is fun to joke around with them and just sit and talk. I am really lucky and appreciate all that I have been blessed with. Shannen was home from BYU and decided to make a homemade banana cream pie. Lachelle helped her and it turned out delicious. Traci and Lauren came for dinner and Amber and Ronnie came later for dessert.

State Gymnastics Meet
Alli had her first level 5 State Meet yesterday. It was a fun time she competed in the 8 and under age group. There are A LOT of really good gymnasts that are 8 and under in Arizona! We went to the meet right after the soccer game. ( bad idea to play a soccer game in the heat before a big meet) Anyway she did great. She placed 4th in the state on beam with a 9.05. She and her gymnastics buddy Adryen were the only ones in their age group from our gym. Whenever those two monkeys are together there is fun going on. After the meet we went to dinner with the coaches Jason and Beth. Hopefully next year both girls will move up to level 6.
Grandma and Grandpa
Grandma and Grandpa got to come to Alli's soccer game yesterday. We were hoping it would be a nice day to sit and watch soccer but we were all dying from the heat!!! Why is it still so hot? It would really be nice to at least be able to get out the long sleave shirts! Even though we were all drenched by the end of the game it was so fun to have grandma and grandpa there too!!

Robert Homecoming
Robert went to homecoming with Laura Bayless. They had 24 people in their group and went to skateland for their day activity. Robert said it was a lot of fun. On homecoming night they all went to the Mesa Art Center to have their pictures taken. When I get those I'll put them in. After pictures they went to Rustlers Rooste for dinner. Robert said he probably wouldn't go there again. Oh well. Then the dance. Robert loves to dance and so does Laura so they stayed and danced to the end! After they went to Josh's house to watch transformers in the backyard and have hot chocolate and a snack. Fun times!

California Trip
We took a really fun trip this weekend. Rich, Richie and I went to LA with Kris and Dave, Shawna and Crris, Mike and Lachelle, Steve and Alli Owen and Jason and Yvonne Davis. We went to go see Wicked and the ASU UCLA game. We flew over and rented this big 12 passenger van and went to the hotel. We had a little time before Wicked so of course we decided to go shopping in the allies. Chris dropped us off and was going to drive around until we were done but found a GREAT parking spot accross the street so he parked and shopped with us. When we were done (well not done but had to quit because we had to get to the play) we went to the van but NO VAN!!!! Chris had parked in a "NO PARKING" after 4pm spot and the van got towed. BIG BUMMER!!! Chris found out where they took the van and the boys went to see if they could get it and the girls took a taxi to the hotel to get ready for the play. Eventually they did get the van back and we barely made it to Wicked and had an amazing time! The next day we went to the Rose Bowl to see the game and it was great fun too. The game was pretty ugly but a win is a win. Fun Times with family and Friends!
ASU v. Oregon
Rich and Richie and Jack and Mike got to go to the Oregon ASU game in Oregon. Even though ASU lost it was a fun trip. The people were really friendly. Everywhere they went it was green and yellow. Every house every business every thing was a "Duck" fan.
Before the game they have this big food party for everyone!

Homecoming answer
Robert asked Laura Bayless to Homecoming and she answered him by filling his room with post its! Some of them said things and most didn't. He had to look through all of them to find the answer only to find that none had an answer!! After Robert got home she came back over to the house and left the answer on a post-it on his rear view window.

Val Vista Sistas Update
I just wanted to update on the final results of the tournament. The young women won their first game tonight and had to play the only undefeated team for the championship. They have played the same team the last two years in a row for the championship game. They were ahead at top of the 7th inning and were playing great! But JUST LIKE LAST YEAR the other team came back to win by 1 run. Haley was awesome but she rolled her ankle in the first game and it is pretty ugly. She said she was fine though and played the whole 2nd game. (probably not a great idea?) She has a big tournament in Hunnington Beach next weekend. Hopefully it will be better by then.
The womens team WON the CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!! It was so fun. My sister Traci came out tonight to play and she was awesome!!! We played a really good team and even had to play an extra inning because it was tied after 7 innings. If we would have lost we would have had to play the same team again because they would have had to beat us twice. I guess none of us wanted to stay for another game because we scored 10 runs in the 8th inning!!!! Go Val Vista Sistas!!!

Val Vista Sistas
Haley and I are both playing on the ward softball teams. I don't have a picture of Haley's team because they played at the same time as us. We are in the midddle of the multi-stake tournament. Both teams won tonight and play tomorrow for the championship. It is really fun to play even though I'm not 25 any more. After the first game I was hurting pretty bad but now I'm good. It really feels good to get out and play and is tons of fun just being with the other ladies.
